Status of this site

stornoway.eu is an independent editorial archive about the band Stornoway. It is not the band’s official website and has no commercial, contractual or representative relationship with the band, with their management, or with the labels that have released their recordings, including 4AD and Cooking Vinyl.

The band name is used here to identify the subject of the writing, which is what a reference work does. No sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation is claimed or implied, and nothing published here should be read as a statement by or on behalf of the band.

Rights in the material

The editorial text, the page structure and the original graphics on this site are the work of its editors. Quotation with attribution and a link is welcome; republication of whole pages is not.

Recordings, compositions, lyrics, artwork and photographs referred to on this site remain the property of their respective rights holders. This site does not reproduce lyrics or host audio, and it does not license any of that material. Enquiries about it should go to the rights holders, not to us.

If you hold rights in something reproduced here and believe it should not be, write to the address above and it will be taken down while the question is settled.

External links

This site links to other websites, including the band’s own. Those sites are outside our control and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or how they handle the data of people who visit them. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement.

Accuracy and liability

The material here is assembled carefully from published sources and checked where it can be checked, but an archive of this kind is never finished and never perfectly accurate. Dates move, listings contradict each other, and reference works carry errors of their own. No warranty is given that everything on this site is correct or complete.

Corrections are genuinely welcome and are acted on. See Contacts for how to send one.
